Visual Identity Development for the Main Brand
For this project, we’ve worked on the development of 2 visual identities:
- Cazane Țuică Sălciile - the main brand, the distillery, through which beverages are produced for the distillery's clients.
- Bodel Distillery - a sub-brand used for the production and sale of its own alcoholic beverages: plum brandy and pálinka.
Main brand identity
The development of the visual identity for the main brand, we had the mission to create a logo that blends traditional and modern styles. Traditional to represent the history of the distillery, which was opened in 1956, and modern to reflect the modern equipment and focus on the development of the distillery.
The final logo is of an emblem type, integrating the following elements:
- Brand name.
- Tagline.
- The distillery's cauldrons as the main symbol.
- The monogram "KZN" will be used individually, and the abbreviation is used on the registration plates of the distillery.

Sub-Brand's Visual Identity
Custom logo design for "Bodel Distillery"
During our collaboration with our client, they decided to launch a sub-brand under which to market their own products. The main goal in defining the visual identity for this sub-brand was the creation of a logo design that would represent continuity with the parent brand and its visual identity.
To achieve our goal, we developed the new logo utilizing key elements from the parent brand’s visual identity, specifically:
- In creating the logo for the sub-brand, we've used the same font family present in the main brand's logo.
- A similar color palette was used.
- The "KZN" monogram has been integrated within the sub-brand's logo, thus creating a direct link to the main brand.

Label, Brochure, and Informative Booklet Design
As part of the project, additional design materials were created, applying the already established visual identities. The related branding materials included:
- Label Design: we have developed a label design system that we could adapt to the product ranges of the sub-brand.
- Brochure Design: we created a brochure design that is representative of the client's brands, which includes all the products sold.
- Informative Booklet Design: a design for a booklet has been created, intended to be attached to each bottle with a brief story about the brand and the products offered.
Throughout the project, we ensured that the developed materials worked together to implement a consistent and defining visual identity for the client’s brands.
